Restaurant Photographer Hampshire – The wonderful Cellar Magneval Wine Bar in Fleet
Jo and Thierry de Magneval opened up their first wine bar in Woking, Surrey, November 2013 and I was commissioned to photograph their bar and launch party. As soon as I walked in I was so blown away by the styling and obvious passion for wine and exquisite cheeses. Their dream really began when they embarked on a journey around the world, while wandering Vineyards in Chile, Argentina, New Zealand and Australia their love of wine only grew. Thierry, after working for over 14 years within the catering industry working alongside the likes of Albert Roux (Brasserie Roux Heathrow T5 & Roux at Parliment Square), Herbert Berger (1 Lombard Street), Michel Roux Jr (Le Gavroche & Roux at Parliment Square) and most recently Pierre Koffmann at The Berkeley Hotel. His love of wine, food and high class service is what he is passionate about and sharing this with his customers is what makes him tick. Jo’s love of wine has developed since meeting Thierry and she firmly believes you don’t have to be an expert (or rich!) to enjoy fine wine. Jo is incredibly bubbly and takes the time to get to know you. They have discovered a niche which is truly their own. I love the cheese trolly which on request offers up the most delectable mouth watering cheeses for you to sample with your wine. restaurant photographer hampshire
The ambiance is created by the use of deep reds, wooden floors and sparkling light. Due to their first wine bar being so hard to resist and being an unprecedented success and second was opened in Fleet, Hampshire. Once again I had the pleasure of photographing wine bar number 2. Each restaurant has it’s own French flair of styling, both totally unique, with collections of antiques, books and quirky items which they have collected whilst on their travels. It is an amazing venue, so friendly, cultured and unique with the offering of delightful cheeses, that will make you think twice next time you are buying cheeses in your local supermarket. resHere are some of the images from my second visit to Cellar Magneval. I have no doubt that is is just the beginning of their future success and I really hope that they will open another wine bar in Kent, so that I can become one of their many regulars! restau
